“Sacramento Catering Collective is the BEST!! We worked with Liz and Joe for our wedding in October and it was one of the best decisions we made. Liz, Joe, and their entire team are really, really cool people. They’re easy and fun to work with, they went above and beyond for us, and all of our guests had a great time and enjoyed their servers and bartenders. I’ve never had a better margarita than the one Ricky made.

My wedding would not have been nearly as good as it was without Liz, I seriously couldn’t have done it without her. She went way beyond her duty as a caterer and helped me facilitate my rentals, spoke on the phone with me countless times giving me advice, helping me with the planning process, and went to bat for me when another vendor fell short. She’s a sweet, good person and I can’t thank her enough.

Their food is absolutely incredible. Not your typical wedding food - this is high end, quality food that they serve so, so beautifully. They are committed to their craft and everyone at our wedding could not stop talking about how delicious it was.

We also held our welcome dinner at their event venue, Chariot, and it exceeded my expectations. Liz did an amazing job designing the space, it’s so unique and everyone was in awe. Book them for your event and you won’t regret it!”

“We recently hired Sacramento Catering Collective for our wedding, and they absolutely exceeded every expectation. Their professionalism and creativity are truly top-notch—everything felt high-end from start to finish.

Our tasting was flawless, and they completely nailed our flavor profiles. This is truly a one-stop shop — from table setup, dining, to cleanup, they handled it all seamlessly. The table designs were beautiful and perfectly matched our rustic vibe.

Everyone raved about the food! We had several passed appetizers followed by a family-style dinner, which we highly recommend. To top it all off, they surprised our guests with a late-night mac and cheese bar that was a total hit and gave everyone that extra boost to keep the party going.

“SCC is TOP NOTCH! I found them on Google and used their website to book an intro call with the owner, Elizabeth. She gave me a great run down of their different menus and we also went over details of our wedding. She answered all of my questions! My last question to her was, “Can you squeeze me in for a tasting tomorrow?” I was only in town for a couple of days and she was able to accommodate me (despite them having a pretty packed schedule as they were preparing for a wedding that day).

My mom accompanied me to the tasting and we had such a great experience! Elizabeth seated us in their beautiful venue space and served us full portions!!! Hors d’oeuvres, salad, and two entrees. All of the food was INCREDIBLE!!! Elizabeth is so so talented. I wish she had a restaurant I could frequent!

I also loved all of the dishes and flatware she served us with. She mentioned to us that they offer rentals for all of those things (dishes, flatware, cups, chargers, napkins, tablecloths, etc). We already looked at another company’s rentals, but it did not compare to Elizabeth’s inventory. She showed us her inventory, we pieced some things together, and voila! I had the perfect place setting that I envisioned for my Victorian style, black-tie wedding.

She put together my quote for the catering services and the rentals, and it was in my inbox that night!

Elizabeth and her husband Joe are the ultimate power couple. They have created a beautiful venue space in the heart of downtown, curated beautiful menus for any occasion, and deliver top notch service to their customers. We left the tasting feeling like family.

“In our early days of wedding planning, my now husband and I agreed primarily on one aspect - food. One of the most significant aspects of a memorable wedding experience is sharing a meal together with loved ones. Including Sacramento Catering Collective to be a part of that intimacy is a decision that we wholeheartedly stand by.

As an Asian American bride, the internal struggle of not having a traditional Vietnamese/Chinese 10 course banquet plagued me, but early conversations with point of contact, Elizabeth, ensured me we made the right decision. Our needs were met with such professionalism and patience. As a healthcare provider, cancellation for the safety of all was always on our mind. Our 175+ guest list became 75. My 2am emails, requests, and check-ins were frequent, but Elizabeth made sure my concerns were put at ease with timely responses and willingness to accommodate.

On the day, Sacramento Catering collective provided us with a lovely 4 course plated dinner service. Scallops, beef filet, lobster, and individualized mini guest cakes - all excellent choices. I inhaled a perfect beef filet in approximately 2 minutes. I heard the hand pulled pasta with lobster was truly a hit. And I can't say enough about the Swiss meringue frosting from their baker, Devon. The attention to detail through refined plating/presentation and stellar service from servers/bartender did not go unnoticed. It was all so thoroughly enjoyable…”

“Chef Bud, Elizabeth, and the rest of the Sac Catering team are absolute gems in the Sacramento catering market. From our very first tasting to our wedding day, their passion for quality foods, artistic approach toward presentation and unwavering attention to detail was admirable and inspiring, to say the least.

Elizabeth was our POC throughout our planning process - she went above and beyond to help us curate a menu that was elevated yet within our budget, and graciously accommodated all of our 'quirky' requests (i.e. special cocktail hour drinks & a fun transition from tabletop decor to desert).

Bud & his day-of team beautifully executed our vision & wowed our guests with the level of service and quality of food presented. Their mobile kitchen worked perfectly for our venue as there was no kitchen on-site and we were quite a distance from Sacramento - it ensured the food was prepared fresh and served at the perfect temperature. As a very special touch, Chef Bud came out to present the dishes being served & gave guests a 'backstory' on the ingredients used in the dishes being prepared. Everyone loved this!

I can't thank Sac Catering enough for helping make our day extra special. Even amidst the wedding boom - they always remembered our names and made my husband & I feel like our day mattered.
